Section: Public Policy and Advocacy

VNAA has been increasingly involved in rural policy affecting home health and hospice providers. Mark your calendars for the 2013 newly formed Rural Interest Group conference calls and in person meetings. Make sure you and your agency get the inside scoop on regulatory changes, best practices, and important policy proposals related to rural communities in the New Year!

In 2012, VNAA announced the formation of a new rural issues interest group. This will be a networking group for members interested in rural issues and a forum for rural members to share experiences and learn from experts.
VNAA members Margaret Franckhauser, CEO of Central New Hampshire VNA and Hospice and Norene Mostkoff, President and CEO of HCI Care Services and VNS of Iowa have agreed to co-chair the committee.\

All VNAA members are invited to participate. To sign up to participate and receive future emails on rural issues, please complete this brief survey.
