Judy Murphy, RN, FACMI, FHIMSS, FAAN, Chief Nursing Officer and Director of the Office of Clinical Quality and Safety at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), has just been added to the agenda for VNAA's 2014 2014 Public Policy Leadership Conference. VNAA's annual PPLC offers hospice and home health care providers face-time with key policymakers and congressional leaders as well as insights on the latest issues impacting your agency.

Judy will share the latest updates from ONC, which is at the forefront of the administration's health IT efforts and is a resource to the entire health system to support the adoption of health information technology and the promotion of nationwide health information exchange to improve health care. ONC is the principal federal entity charged with coordination of nationwide efforts to implement and use the most advanced health information technology and the electronic exchange of health information.

Join VNAA and gain an insider's perspective on the outlook toward health care-related issues in Congress and the administration. New this year, VNAA will also host the inaugural Financial Leaders Summit on Sept. 8 prior to the start of the Public Policy Leadership Conference. Attendees will hear from a number of noted experts in healthcare payment policy on a range of topics including new payment models and reforms, managed Medicaid and more.
