Say "Boo!" to the Flu is an annual, nationwide education campaign aimed at increasing awareness of the importance of flu prevention for children. Every October, through a partnership with The Clorox Company, VNAA provides member agencies with step-by-step instructions on how to host a "Boo!" clinic in their local communities and receive national attention for their efforts. Participants may also apply for a mini-grant to help offset a portion of the marketing, promotional and media costs associated with "Boo!" events.

2013 Say "Boo" to the Flu! Program Details

As in previous years, VNAA will provide turnkey kits and accept mini-grant applications. Halloween-themed Say "Boo!" to the Flu tote bags and stickers will be provided. VNAA members have the option to apply for a turnkey kit and/or a mini-grant which includes the turnkey kit. While not required, VNAA member agencies are encouraged to focus their "Boo!" clinic outreach efforts on school-aged children. Visit the Say "Boo!" to the Flu website to learn more and complete the participation questionnaire.
