Today the Visiting Nurse Associations of America announced state home care and hospice associations are now eligible to join the association as non-voting associate members. As the voice of nonprofit home health, hospice and community health service providers, allowing state associations to join in the exchange of information about the current and future practice of quality, cost effective nonprofit home health care and hospice services will be a valuable addition to its mission.
“We are enthusiastic to open our membership to state associations,” said Tracey Moorhead, president and CEO of VNAA. “State associations play a key role in strengthening VNAA’s advocacy leadershipby providing information on how federal legislation and regulations impact individual state healthcare programs. We look forward to their input in our drive to provide industry wide standards and best practices for nonprofit home health care services.”
State associations that join VNAA as associate members will receive valuable member benefits including subscriptions to VNAA publications, discounts on meeting registrations and educational opportunities as well as discounts on VNAA’s acclaimed Clinical Procedure Manual.
