VNAA will host two Regional Meetings in October to highlight key policy, quality and innovation activities for nonprofit providers of home health and hospice care. VNAA will partner with the VNAs of Pennsylvania on Oct. 3-4 to offer presentations on upcoming HIPAA requirements, opportunities in new care delivery models and partnerships with managed care organizations, and the role of data in improving outcomes.

On Oct. 9-10, VNAA will partner with Centura Health to host a meeting in Englewood, Colo. that will include presentations from Tim Rowan, Wellpoint, and HealthTeamWorks, a physician practice transformation organization. VNAA staff, including President and CEO Tracey Moorhead, will be present at both meetings to provide updates on VNAA’s policy activities and the new VNAA Blueprint for Excellence.

The next VNAA Regional Meeting is in State College, Pa. from Oct. 3 – 4 and is presented in conjunction with VNAs of Pennsylvania. The agenda for this meeting is all about opportunities; in new care delivery; for succeeding in the new health care environment; to improve outcomes; to earn CEUs; and much more. The meeting agenda and registration is available on VNAA’s Website.

A week after the Pennsylvania meeting, another is being held in Englewood, Colo. This meeting, scheduled for Oct. 9-10, is hosted by Centura Health at Home and Rehabilitation and VNA. For those members looking for the most cutting edge nonprofit home health and hospice content, this is the meeting to attend. There will be insight into how home health agencies can team up with managed care organizations, what kinds of technology to adopt to survive healthcare reform, and how home health can work with patient centered medical homes. VNAA’s Website has more information on how to register and the complete agenda.

Save the date for the final VNAA Regional Meeting in 2013 which is hosted by Advanced Home Care in High Point, N.C. from Dec. 5-6. The agenda, which is still being prepared, promises to be as rich and comprehensive as the agendas at the other two events.
