Therapy Documentation in Home Health
Healthcare organizations are doing everything they can to provide better care for their patients. Improving outcomes while decreasing costs – AND maintaining compliance with physicians’ orders and payer regulations is NOT an easy goal to achieve. An important first step is ensuring that clinicians are documenting to meet the Conditions of Participation and billing requirements. This Defensible Clinical Documentation series will educate each clinical discipline on how they can improve their documentation skills, maintain compliance, and provide better patient care!
The Therapy experts at Advance Rehab Management Group are back to teach you the best practices regarding correct and compliant Therapy Documentation. This education will take you within the industry and identify potential areas of improvement in your own therapy documentation. Are you a better therapist than your notes indicate? By attending this webinar, you will have the opportunity to take a critical look at things like: the therapy you delivered and the documentation you didn’t, you’re only as good as your documentation says you are, providing better care through excellent documentation.
- Develop a documentation strategy
- Describe requirements for home health treatment documentation
- Differentiate a “good” goal from a “bad” goal
- Understand the need for objective measures and demonstrate how to find them
